Eyebrow Aftercare

  • Day of Procedure

30 minutes after your appointment blot your brows with a damp cotton round gently but firmly and then dry with a clean paper towel.

Wait an additional 30 minutes then repeat this step followed by a sheer application of balm on dried brows.

  • First 72 Hours

For the first 72 hours you’ll repeat the blotting and balming routine morning, afternoon and night. A small wound has been created on your skin and these steps help break up any fluids forming on the surface that could form a scab and essentially take pigment away once the skin starts flaking as it heals.

  • Days 4-14

Morning and night with clean hands gently apply a sheer layer of balm to keep your brows moisturized. A rice grain amount should be sufficient for both. You want your brows to feel moisturized while still being able to breathe. This will promote the healing process. Continue this step for 2 weeks or until the brows are fully healed.

  • Things to Avoid While Healing

Other than when you’re performing the above steps it is important to keep your brows dry. This includes but not limited to; saunas, pools, jacuzzis, swimming, SWEATING etc.

    Direct sun exposure.

Active skincare ingredients and makeup in the brow area.

  • Long Term Care

Some advice to keep your brows looking their best for years to come.

Apply sunscreen directly to your brows when you plan on being in the sun.

Using active ingredients such as retinols, acids will lighten your brows quicker overtime so be mindful about application. This includes facial treatments such as peels, lasers etc.

  • Things to Remember

Your brows will be at their darkest the first week. Once the pigment starts flaking it will reveal a lighter, softer color. You are fully healed at 4 weeks. Whatever pigment is lost during healing can be restored at your touchup.
